The campaign was very successful and gave a better recognition of Nepal for tourism among the international community. Since then, the numbers of tourists in Nepal have increased rapidly. The late government did the branding of Visit Nepal 98 quite well by printing notes and coins with the tag. Similarly , the present government of Nepal, announced 2020 as the tourism year in Nepal. The campaign is a very massive campaign. Various tourism related festivals and programs are organized through out the year.
